Ways to learn

‘How to Become an Expert in Early Years Imaginative Play’ has been written so that anyone can take the course independently from the comfort of their own home or workplace. In this way, our prices are able to be incredibly competitive and we are able to reach a great many early years practitioners (and, by extension, a great many early years children!). Our lifetime access to expert advice via email and through our learning academy, means that anyone taking the course can enjoy outstanding drama training and feel fully supported, at a very reasonable price.

However, we recognise that in some circumstances, it can help to have additional webinar tutorials, or even in-person training. And that’s why we offer three different ways to learn:

Independent learning

  • Access all pre-recorded lessons and downloadable resources online, via our learning hub
  • Take the course in your own time, from the comfort of your home/workplace
  • Try out what you learn on the course at home/in your setting as you work through the challenges at your own pace
  • Benefit from direct email support from one of our co-founders and via our online support group, ‘The Pyjama Drama Learning Academy’

Who does this work best for?

  • Anyone who works with, or wants to work with, children aged 3 – 5 (individuals or groups)
  • Anyone who prefers to work at their own pace, knowing support is out there if they need it
  • Independent practitioners (for example, students, nursery staff, business owners, teachers or childminders, who want to extend their professional development)
  • Groups of practitioners who want to benefit from the competitive price (for example, staff at a school or nursery)

  • Typically includes three webinar group tutorials which take place over the course of one month, as practitioners work their way through the pre-recorded lessons
  • Share experiences and benefit from additional training/support given ‘face to face’ via webinar
